However, if I do the same with the 64 bit version, X7 opens, changes to Mange mode and no image is opened. PSP opens in Edit mode, loads the image and I am good to go. If I configure my workflow software to call the 32 bit version of X7 everything works properly. Strangely enough the 32 and 64 bit versions of PSP act differently when called from the Mac although the Photoshop versions do not act differently. I have an older version of Photoshop on Windows and tested this whole interface using it before getting X7. It seemed like a simple process to call PSP from my workflow software, do what I needed on the Windows side and then save the file and return to the Mac. Since I decided to deep-six my Photoshop CC subscription, which runs on my Mac, after the subscription ends, I installed PSP X7 to use as a pixel editor for times I need to do layers, masking and other functionality I cannot do on my workflow software. I also have Parallels software allowing me to run a Windows 8 VM on my Mac. I work on a MacBook Pro running OS X and use workflow software on that OS. My problem (or question) is probably a bit strange since my system configuration is certainly odd.
